It's pretty rare these days to be able to call childhood friends life-long friends. I'm blessed to have two of them. Gloria happens to be one of them. We had P.E. together in the 7th grade and one day this girl comes walking up to my locker and greets me with a super cheerful "Hello!". We've been friends ever since.
We've been through life's highs and lows together, shared in each other's life milestones, including her marrying her high school sweetheart, Tony. We're currently walking through this crazy season of parenthood together. There have been lots of tears shared over the years; some sad, but mostly from laughing so hard. Oh, and the belly laughs. The laughs are real! It doesn't matter how far away we are from each other or how long it's been since we've seen each other, we always pick up right where we left off.
Let me just say when you have 4 small kids (2 of which are twins and double trouble), 3 uncles, 4 grandparents, along with mom & dad, it gets really fun and interesting. These 4 are some of the luckiest kids. They have amazing grandparents and uncles who love to play around with them. These littles had me cracking up and laughing so hard. Their faces say it all!
Watching her family grow has been such a privilege and joy. And being able to capture her family with both sets of grandparents, her brothers and Tony's brother, was a gift. It may not always be easy to get everyone together for a photo like this, but it is so worth it in the end. I can't wait to capture more moments like this for you in the years to come!
