An FFA and cheer senior session
This was such a fun senior session to do with Isaiah! He’s been my daughter’s teammate for the past two years, and it’s been so special getting to know him. Not just as an athlete, but as a genuinely kind guy. Watching him grow in his skills and confidence has been such a joy.
For this session, I brought my daughter along to be my assistant, and together we doubled as Isaiah’s personal cheerleaders — pun definitely intended!
Isaiah knew exactly the vibe he wanted for his senior photos. As an FFA student, he wanted something outdoorsy and authentic to who he is. Cal Poly turned out to be the perfect backdrop. Open spaces, mountains in the background, fences, and a few horses nearby to complete the scene. It couldn’t have fit him better! He completely knocked his session out of the park. From the easy smiles to the natural confidence, every shot felt so him.
I’m so glad I got to do this session for him. Getting to photograph someone you’ve watched grow and cheered for (literally!) makes it all the more meaningful.
